Our Story

César Pita, a culinary artist who found his soul in Baja Sur — a chef who cooks with fire and believes that great food begins in the heart.

Raised in his grandparents’ restaurant in Querétaro, César discovered the soul of authentic Mexican cuisine early on. Now an adopted “Choyero”, his passion has taken him around the world, refining techniques and flavours while staying rooted in simplicity. At Fénix, he blends wood-fire grills, brick ovens, and regional ingredients to create dishes that honor tradition, awaken the senses, and feed the spirit.
